Review of The Golden Compass (2007) by Kiran P — 01 Sep 2012
Changing the order of events, rejecting the Tom Stoppard version of the script for a dumbed down version for "American audiences" and ending the film before the end of the story all left me thinking I had been robbed.
The absolute barest minimum was done to put across the story, but in a flat soul-less way. You could say it had been severed from it's daemon.
