Review of The Golden Compass (2007) by Devyns — 10 Dec 2007
The beginning may be a bit confusing if you have not read any of the books - it seemed a bit disjointed, like too much had been left out. About a third of the way in, it picked up and didn't seem like there were any more gaps.
On an unrelated note, my friends and I unanimously decided that Iorek Byrnison is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
