Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Dan S — 03 Nov 2007
One of Chaplin's best (along with City Lights) - I saw this in Ottawa with the orchestra accompaniment. Comic scenes, with poignant moments (some scenes seem dated by today's standards). If I ever get stranded in the wilderness, I can always try to eat my shoe!
