Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Rachel B — 23 Dec 2007
You can't be in a bad mood while watching this film, it just isn't possible! From the moment the Tramp enters you can't help but smile. The key sequences are iconic and genius. The narrative by Chaplin instead of intertitles is kind of distracting, but it lets the film flow better.
