Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Victoria W — 26 Jun 2007
A beautiful and heartfelt satire, as bittersweet as the best Chaplins are. With many memorable sequences (oh, the dancing, the shoe lace-eating, the Tramp as a chicken!) it remains one of the best films of all time.
