Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Wasawat C — 05 Jun 2007
" Abosolutely Comedy innovator.." no one will refuse that.. Charles Charplin is The King of Comedy. This isn't his best.. but it's great.. especially many comedy tricks he used. We still see those tricks nowaday.. So we can call them Classic comedy tricks!! and in simply story, happy ending of Chaplin style always filled with good content like human moral, society's norm and his strong belief of humanity.
PS. Most of people said "City Light" was his best.. I love "The Great Dictator" cause of it's content and great satire of human power. I saw it last year.. anyway I saw City light since I was young. I gotta see it again!!
