Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989) by Dave H — 22 Aug 2008
Still utterly charming, although not quite as innocent and pure as the first. Plot is more linear and conjoined, stunts are bigger, cuteness quotient upped with a couple of kids, and the laugh-out-loud guffaw ratio is perhaps even higher.
Almost lyrical and beautiful in parts, but still gratefully slapstick-stupid in others - LOVE the little plane's Flintstone wheels, and LOVE LOVE LOVE the tenacious, rambunctious, adorable little weasel.
