Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) by Usama A — 01 Apr 2010

I might have appreciated this movie so much because of an anthropology class I took, and we just happened to talk about this flick. The big idea that I took from this, is that no matter how complex civilization gets, it seems like we have more problems and difficulties that arise from things that are supposed to make our life easier. And then you see this, where the smallest inclining of technology disrupts one of the most primitive of civilizations on the planet. Ironic.

Oh, and the rhino as nature's fire fighter was classic.
