Review of The Godfather Part III (1990) by Tim T — 09 Oct 2010
A good film nonetheless but it was unnecessary. It does have its strengths though: Garcia is good, Pacino is even better (why no nom?), some classic dialogue - "just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in" - and a brillant climax (the opera scene - tense and moving).
My biggest gripes with this film are: no Duvall, Sofia is in-front of the camera, a convoluted story and a weak ending (Michael's natural death) - slightly underwhemling?
