Review of The Godfather Part III (1990) by Carrie L — 11 Mar 2012
Well... What a disappointment.
The Godfather is one of my favourite films of all time. The first and the second but I wouldn't even put this film on the sam shelf as the other two.
It has been said online that non of the cast, film producers or anyone involved with the first two classes this as a third.
It has clearly been made more for the female viewers as the plot introduces a daughter and most of the film is revolved around her. Also the ending would have been better if they'd finished the film when Al Pacino dies on the steps but one of the most respected actors happens to die in a chair outside with a dog barking at him. A very respectable way to go for The Godfather I'm sue.
It could have been such a good film if they had just used the information from the first two and put that into the third. Possibly introducing his son more or making him the new Godfather. Anything would have been better than this.
