Review of The Godfather Part III (1990) by Nicola D — 15 Aug 2012
The weakest movie of the trilogy, everybody knows that. But I think that an high standard wasnt that easy to achieve again, some 18 years after the first movie. The cast here is perfect, but maybe the new Corleone generation has too much of the 1990s inside it, and I see Mario Puzo's hand far away from the script, even tho he had a role on it.
The death of Michael Corleone is at the very end of the movie, and, although it is only a 10-seconds moment, it's one of the best deaths ever, unexpected as a heart-disease death should be.
