Review of The Godfather Part III (1990) by Javier H — 08 May 2014
Michael Corleone is no longer the ambitious, cold-minded, intelligent and angry young man from the second film. Pacino tries to redeem his character but the tireness and the many years passed from The Godfather Part II do not help.
However, the ending results on a very powerful finale for the legendary saga, as its Shakespearian sense of tragic competes directly with the other two endings of the Corleone Trilogy. A sad, bad-planned but still a more than worthy goodbye.
