Not the train-wreck it's reputation makes it out to be. However, Sofia "I'm in this because Daddy is directing it" Coppola is every bit as bad as you've heard. Maybe worse. It also lacks the presence of a still living/not killed off Robert Duvall ad Tom Hagen.
Still has some decent performances and memorable scenes. Sofia Coppola taking a bullet for her pops Michael Corleone is a crowd-pleaser, as every audience member I've talked to had been begging to see that harpy pushing up daisies from the minute she first crept onto the screen.
