The final installment in the Godfather Trilogy is the embodiment of missed opportunities. Al Pacino delivers his most powerful performance to date amidst a solid conspiratorial tale, but the often painful acting, blatant nepotism, and unconvincing setting cause Coppola's "grand finale" to lose the emotional impact the first two elicited.
