Review of The Godfather Part III (1990) by Aaron J — 08 Aug 2017
On a Godfather watching binge right now. The first two are the perfect storm of great directing, acting, and story-telling. Number three is an embarrassment of nepotism, narcissism, and an incoherent plot.
The last one could obliterate the glory of the first two but it does not. But it is best to not think of it as part of a trilogy...just a sad reminder of what can happen when one gets too much success and decides to forget all of the lessons of good film making by producing this travesty.
