On one of those rare occasions, we get a sequel that improves upon the original in The Godfather Part II. A movie that improves much upon its predecessor with a powerful and strong performance from Al Pacino and an insightful one and beautifully inspired performance from Robert De Niro with an ensemble that packs a sting to the punch, it is equally entertaining as is startling, perfectly shocking and tragic.
The Godfather Part II is a sequel masterpiece.
