Review of The Godfather Part II (1974) by Alec B — 05 Jan 2014
Coppola continues to explore the same themes as the first one, only this time with more Shakespearean flair. There's an interesting juxtaposition displayed by portraying the rise of Vito Corleone along with the continued attempts by Michael Corleone to consolidate his power and I like the way the film weaves in real history into its fictional narrative.
