There are many that argue whether this film surpasses 'The Godfather', not just in terms of which was the best film of the trilogy, but the best film in American cinematic history.
I am of the opinion that 'The Godfather Part II' surpasses its predecessor in every way. For me, THIS is Al Pacino's greatest performance ever.
