Review of The Godfather Part II (1974) by Anak. — 17 Mar 2007
The fact that any reviewer could give this movie a 40 is lost on me. This movie was put together with a superb plot and superb acting. Al Pacino continues to excel at his role as Michael Corleone. Marlon Brando's absence is made up for marvelously by Robert De Niro, who recreates the voice of the godfather perfectly.
It is the best sequel I have ever seen. It doesn't match the incredible perfection of the original, but it comes as close as any movie could. The two parallel storylines make the story of the godfather complete.
