Part 2 is everything that you want in a sequel and then some. It truly matches it in nearly every way possible. The backstory of Vito is a true treat and seeing Michael firmly in place as the head of the family while dealing with a myriad of problems highlighted how Michael was very much Vito's son and the only son fitting to lead the family.
