The Godfather is listed among the best films of all time (usually number 1) because it truly deserves that merit. It is a movie that brought movies to an entirely different scale. Its complex story of the Corleone family plays out perfectly, everything seems of importance, and not to mention the beautiful soundtrack accompanying the movie.
The Godfather will never be forgotten, ever.
