Review of The Glory Guys (1965) by Trent R — 28 Jan 2011
Kind of like its straightforward, macho and funny heroes this is an entertaining watch highlighted by a pacey Peckinpah script. The Ortolani score, terrific character work by Pickens and Caan, and an excellent climax shot(!) by James Wong Howe put it several notches above what might otherwise be typical horse opera fare.
