This type of movie is admittedly one of my guilty pleasures. Yes, it's extreme. No, this (probably) wouldn't happen in real life. But the situation is so weird, the "dad" so over-the-top creepy and evil, and the teenager way smarter than normal that it is a perfect storm of enjoyable movie-watching for me!
