Review of The Glass Bottom Boat (1966) by Helen H — 01 Oct 2006
I love Doris Day and I think she makes anything watchable - but I thought Rod Taylor was a fairly weak leading man. The film is packed full of sight gags - some of them fairly funny, but some of them looking a bit dated because they rely on futuristic gadgets that don't look too futuristic to a modern day viewer.
Also, why was the film called the Glass Bottom Boat when they hardly go near the boat for the whole film?
