The Giver is an incredibly dull and pointless film that fails to anything that its source material achieved. With weak performances and even weaker writing. This movie isn't even terrible but it is the very meaning of forgettable and not one that I'll ever feel the need to revisit.
Luckily it has swift pacing and short running time.
