Review of The Giver (2014) by Anna S — 18 Jan 2015
This movie made me nearly shed a tear a few times. It reminded me that, while there are awful things people in this world have to endure, there is much worth living for. It made me think of Adam and Eve, God's reason for putting us on the earth, and the gift of agency.
It is quite a bit different than the book (adds a love story, and more closure to the story).
