Review of The Girlfriend Experience (2009) by David J — 30 Jul 2009
This film was pretty typical in the Soderberg indie/arty style. It was good, Sasha Grey was not too bad, she is an interesting person and I guess that translated pretty well into her being able to embody an interesting character.
The film is interesting but ultimately inconsequencal, on top of that all of the references to the presidential campiagn and the then current economic situation will hinder the film from aging gracefully i'm afraid.
