Noomi Rapace will always be Lisbeth Salander, she embodied her effortlessly.

Rooney Mara's - Lisbeth, was just to robotic, and had a animal distance, not a cautious distance like Noomi conveys. The pacing, depth of feeling, deliverance... was very watered down compared to the original.

I still liked this movie, but it lacked soul in many aspects.

I would recommend the original over this one any day.
