Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Anthony P — 21 Feb 2013

I went in with lower-than-shit expectations. I heard a lot of talk about this movie, but I figured it was just another dark, foregin-locale based, horror-ish film. As it turns out, I was right about those things, but wrong about my pre-conceived judgment.

Everyone is fantastic. The story, while some ancillary details are confusing, is phenomenal. Plus, I'm glad that one rapist dude got his comeuppance. I want to buy this move to watch a few more times to figure out some of the backstory of the characters.

It's all quite interesting. David Fincher really put together another home run.
