Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Zach E — 16 Mar 2013
You wont be faulted if you still like the Swedish film more (it didnt need a remake honestly), but you will be hard pressed to not enjoy this film. David finchers update is more dynamic than the original in my opinion.
Even vile characters are made a bit more human (i said human not relatable) through their performance. Daniel Craige gives the Mickiel Blomkvist character more life and Roony Marra as Lisbeth Salander is more unpredictable, symathetic, and dangerous than noomi rapace.
Fincher does a great job of updating an already great movie.
