Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Joshua P — 20 Mar 2013

Honestly, I love this film. Everyone knows I love this film. My girlfriend is annoyed with how much I LOVE this film. Having seen both this version and the extended Swedish edition, I can't help but maintain that Fincher's vision was perfect.

This captures the very essence of the story; from the opening credits to the closing, it is a fantastic piece of art. I really hope TGTPWF gets off the ground, because Fincher can truly do it justice.

This series deserves a fantastic adaptation, where the Swedish ones were only great. If Fincher makes all three films, this trilogy will take its place among the top trilogies of all time. I have NOTHING bad to say about this film, it is excellent, and in a word, perfect.
