Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Josh G — 18 Apr 2013
I'll start out by saying I have a man crush on Fincher's directing style, and the man himself. His venture for perfection very often is shown through the careful detail he takes in weaving each scene.
Rooney Mara blew me away. There is a certain intensity in her eyes and also a touch of despair that you can almost feel like teeth sinking deep into your veins, and I don't think you can ever go wrong with Daniel Craig.
And as usual Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, do a splendid job of creating unusual sounds that become appropriate for each situation. It does however, end a bit abruptly, obviously it is a part of a trilogy so it set a foundation, and Fincher is notorious for that type of ending.
I'm in love with this psycho film.
