A commendable attempt for an English speaking audience. But, my heart remains with the original Swedish version with Noomi Rapace as the girl with the dragon tattoo. Rooney Mara's performance was quite good.
But, Noomi Rapace portrayed the character as if it were seeping out of the pores of her skin. She seemed to embody the character like no one else. One of the most convincing portrayals I've ever seen by an actor of any character.
The trilogy will go down as three of my favorite films of all time.
