You have to really realize that this is it's own film. I had a very hard time not comparing this to the foreign original. When you DO compare the two films, this version of the film was awful! It was funny it was so feeble compared to the dominant Swedish film.

Though that is comparing. When I don't compare and I imagine this film as the first Girl With The Tattoo film, it's not bad at all. Overall a good film, though NOTHING compared to the Swedish one.
