Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Nguyen V — 17 Nov 2013
The dark atmosphere fits in very well with Fincher's adaptation of the novel, with the cinematography and editing reflecting it very well. It also sees him returning to his thriller roots. The performances are a plus, as well as the script by Steven Zaillian.
However, it can be too brutal at times.
