Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Sonny M — 10 Jul 2014
While there is no doubt that the film is wonderfully directed with style from the great David Fincher, stellar images produced by his cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth, a superlative soundtrack from Reznor and Ross and an Oscar-worthy performance from Rooney Mara, the film is packed with so much dialogue that often I was wondering how the characters were figuring things out themselves.
It was this idea that the film began to lose me, and the film lost a potential fifth star.
