Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Richard D — 07 Oct 2014
This is a beautifully made film that really has no reason to exist. Niels Arden Oplev's adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel is a great adaptation and Fincher's film really has no new ground to cover.
It's certainly a lot more stylish and better directed than Oplev's film, but in the end, that doesn't really justify a whole new version of this story. Daniel Craig seems a bit miscast ...
he's two rugged and handsome for the part.
