Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Joel P — 15 Oct 2015
Poignant, jarring, realistic, compelling and maybe a little too graphic are the words that best describe this films dive into a voyeuristic world leaving the viewer as the watcher and the watched. Be it a quiet and grungy girl who uses the internet and media to spy on other peoples lives, or the villain who also holds a telescoping eye on all those surrounding him, this film focuses on watching and even studying the person who is supposed to be investigating the crime regardless who this person may be.
Like any mystery it keeps you guessing and almost as frustrated as the characters attempting to solve the dilemma until the very end. Highly recommended. Loved it.
