David Fincher returns to his roots and directs a near perfect neo-noir pyschological thriller. Rooney Mara also returns from her minor role in The Social Network and proves that she is more than capable of becoming an A-list actor.

If the film only focused more on Lisbeth's dark past rather than glossing over it, the film would be perfect.
