Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Ronald N — 30 Mar 2013
With a excellent filming and direction by David Fincher, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" captures the brutality and captivation of the that brings it's witty plot, being a highly faithful movie of the source material of Stieg Larsson's novel.
In the performances, is pretty compelling and terrific especially Rooney Mara that is relatively perfect thanks to felt more self-conscious in the role, then Craig still Craig, shine like other movies.
But a use of flashbacks made the movie a little confused, but with this is more easy to solve the mystery, making the mistake into a technique which benefit the movie; however, the movie lose points every time this movie is nothing more than a slightly (just ever so slightly) inferior version of the Swedish films.
Fincher is able to make a unique and fascinating remake, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is proof of that capacity exists in his direction.
