Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Cristian M — 07 Nov 2013
Director David Fincher directs the US remake of the popular book series that was made into a film trilogy in Sweden back in 2009. Having Fincher win awards from his 2010 Facebook film The Social Network, one would probably think this film will be under good hands. Is it?
To be honest yea, it's an excellent crime thriller and brings lots of tension to the table and makes you guessing who could have done it and why. The performances of this film is remarkable. Especially with the actress who I can't think of her name but she plays the title character named Lisbeth. My goodness she can act and completely change herself. Daniel Craig along with everybody else did a fine job as well.
Only thing abut this movie is that you have to play attention or your gonna get lost at points and ask why are they here or how did they get here. This doesn't help as a lot of the actors and actresses have heavy tone of voice and are difficult to hear. And it's a bit to long as well but other than what I said, great crime thriller film and definitely waiting for the two remaining sequels to be filmed.
