Not as good as Zodiac, Fight Club, The Social Network, or Se7en. Nonetheless, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a VERY good film! Rooney Mara was unreal great in her role as Lisbeth. I wouldn't have had a clue it was her if I already didn't know beforehand.
David Fincher is easily one of the best directors of all time. My only real complaints of the film are the first 20 minutes and the last 20 minutes. They were by no means bad, they were just a little meh. Everything in-between though is brilliant and totally engaging. Also the use of the song "Sail Away" was absolutely fantastic.
