Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Logan S — 09 Jan 2012
Despite tons of subtitles and a couple scenes that'll make anybody cringe, this film is fantastic. Its a suspenseful mystery that sucks you in as soon as it starts. The film is wonderfully paced, wonderfully shot, and has fantastic actors that play their roles exceptionally well.
Especially Noomi Rapace as the title role. The film surprises you at every turn, and Pushes your curiosity to its peak with clues and reveals. Overall, this film is a masterpiece. It engrosses the audience with a mystery that, with each reveal and clue, keeps them at the edge of their seat.
Its dark, gritty, smart, fantastic, and a well-written film from start to finish. I love it. If you don't have a problem with subtitles, this film is a definite buy for any person looking for a good suspenseful and mysterious thrill-ride or just a wonderful film in general.
