Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Erin W — 18 Jan 2012
The inherent problems with the story aside, this movie has the pacing, mood and tone perfect. Noomi Rapace's performance is nuanced and realistic, showcasing the vulnerability without the americanized "love-interest" subplot, showing real humanity without succumbing to trivializing the real emotions underneath the exterior.
Lisbeth doesn't need to be in love to show warmth, people.
