Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Thomas V — 30 Jan 2012

Been meaning to see this film for a while and I'm quite angry with myself for not having sought it out sooner. Crime thrillers are not something I get too excited about but this movie had me absolutely enthralled for it's duration.

The story is great and has you thinking right throughout the movie but the more interesting part is definately the character development that is slowly and organically portrayed during the events that take place.

It's a grim movie and totally nothing like I expected. I was so carried away I didn't realise 2 and a half hours had passed or the fact that it was in Swedish and I was reading subtitles. Completely blew me away, a must see.
