La Femme Nikita meets Jason Bourne in this smart, high tension espionage & crime thriller full of action and suspense. Noomi Rapace gives a killer performance as Lisbeth Salander, the punk rock-ish, hard edged computer hacker who's not to be underestimated.
This is a foreign language political/espionage thriller based on the same named book. Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) a computer hacker with a dark past and trust issues crosses paths with a journalist who's reputation is discredited after a story about corruption goes south when a key source leaves him hanging.
While sweating it out, journalist Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) receives an offer to investigate a 40 year old unsolved murder that's still hanging over a relative who can't let go. With a reluctant Salander helping him, the pair set out to solve the mystery.
