Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Andy S — 06 Apr 2012

Very tight and tense action thriller with fantastic characters set in the cold of Switzerland. While the well written and performed story is fantastic, it's the characters of Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander that are the true winners here crafting this film in to such a memorable piece of entertainment.

Noomi Rapace is perfection in her role as the troubled yet brilliant Lisbeth. Loved the pacing of the film as well. I don't expect the Fincher version to move at a slow pace like this to warm you to the characters.

Noomi Rapace deserves a real career after this. good luck to Rooney Mara trying to do any betther than Rapace. I'm definitely interested in the other films now just to see where these characters go.
