I would say its slightly better put together than the American version only because it's easier to follow the clues with the help of subtitles. It's easier to follow Noomi Rapace is a better girl than the new one and dude sucks compared to daniel craig but the new one makes the girl the secondary character next to craig.

The originally is truer most likely to the heroin in the book. The new one also has a much better sound track and better imagery so I guess its a tie now that think about it. Combine then and you'd have a se7en like masterpiece.
