I loved this movie, and Noomi Rapace was excellent as Salander. I read the books after watching the movies and was sad to see some parts left out but on the whole it followed the books well. If you have not seen this movie please take the time to see it.
It follows the books better than the new "American" version. Also the DVD of this allows you to watch it in the English version so you can understand without subtitles.
