Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Simon D — 12 Dec 2012

I'm quite surprised how similar to the English version this is although there are some pretty big changes to the storyline, from the book too. Nyqvist is not a good choice as a womanising hero, he's got a face like a welders bench and he'd never pull a ripper like Rapace so that's a bit unsettling.

I actually think that the English version is cast better, but that might be due to a lack of Swedish speaking talent. This is a cracking story and both are pretty good films, will go on to watch the others now.
